The Ybor City Campus is situated in the heart of Tampa’s Historic Latin Quarter. Interspersed with the existing historic structures in Ybor City, the campus buildings were architecturally designed to blend with the surroundings. The campus is minutes away from downtown Tampa and easily accessible to all sections of the county via Interstate 4, Interstate 275, State Highway 60, and the Lee Roy Selmon Expressway.
The Ybor City Campus specializes in the program areas of child care, business management, computer programming, office education, fire science, art, drama, music, and criminal justice training. Also available is a full complement of general education offerings.
As well as the newly renovated Performing Arts Building, which features studios, classrooms, band room, gallery, theatre and auditorium, the campus boasts seven other buildings housing a variety of programs and administrative offices. In May 2010, we opened a new state-of-the-art Student Services Building to provide one-stop services to our students. The campus is also home to the HCC Workforce and Public Safety Training Center which hosts the Autobody Collision program and the Police and Fire Academies.
