Founded in 1968 as a part of the 28-member Florida College System, Hillsborough Community College is dedicated to creating the best environment for teaching and learning. HCC educates more than 47,000 students each year, and our 160 academic programs are supported by more than 2,000 faculty and staff members wholly focused on student success.
HCC takes great pride in operating as one college with five campuses, each with a unique identity reflective of the communities it serves. Our college is truly a global community with more than 130 countries represented in our student population. We make it a priority to provide our students with engaging campus life—including a wide array of clubs, activities, service learning, and athletics programs—that brings a rewarding college experience.
HCC is proud to serve as the first choice in higher education for graduates of the School District of Hillsborough County. Through our associate in arts programs, we are the largest community college feeder to the University of South Florida. HCC also has a longstanding tradition of responsiveness to meeting the needs of business and industry through our workforce degree and certificate programs. Additionally, HCC's Institute for Corporate and Continuing Education provides customized training solutions to help strengthen the competitiveness of the local workforce.
For more than four decades Hillsborough Community College has proudly served the residents of Tampa Bay through our programs and services. We invite you to join us and become a proud member of the HCC family.
