Barry Silber (the Voice of the Hawks) has been employed with HCC since 1991 in various capacities: Counselor, Advisor, and Psychology professor.  He began courtside announcing for the Hawks 10 years ago, and has been involved with men’s basketball, women’s basketball, and volleyball.  He is also a community theater actor, director, and producer.  He likes to bring his theatrics to the game with many colorful phrases.  Barry enjoys watching student/athletes compete and develop their academic and athletic skills.  Barry says come watch our Hawks, “I guarantee a fun time”!
