Head Coach, Jennifer Sepielli

Jennifer Sepielli is the proud daughter of the her late father, Sam Sepielli, and mother, Virginia Sepielli. She has one sister Melissa and a brother Guytano. She was born and raised in Fort Myers, Florida where she attended and played basketball her first two years of high school at Bishop Verot under Coach Bob Batson and finished her last two years playing and graduating at Mariner High School under Coach Dwayne Donnell.

   She was then recruited by Coach Derrick Worrels and signed a scholarship to play for the Women’s Basketball program for Hillsborough Community College under Coach Yolanda Whitehead. Jennifer was captain of her team and was named Scholar-Athlete of the Year both her freshman and sophomore year. She graduated with her AA in business and was a part of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.

 Jen was determined to stay in Tampa, Florida and enrolled at The University of South Florida to continue her education. Jen's love for the game drew her right back to the court. She took the initiative to keep her dreams alive and went to meet with the Head Coach Jose Fernandez, on becoming part of the team.

Jennifer has always stayed involved with Hillsborough Community College, HCC, and stayed close to the program through the years. She has had the honor of playing for wonderful coaches in her past and helped assist under the former HCC Coaches;  Coach Derrick Worrels, Coach Neil Risher, Coach Stephen Taylor, and Coach Tommy Jones. Sepielli has also been blessed to have Coach Timmy Maloney, who is the assistant Men’s Coach at Baylor University as a Mentor.

This is Sepielli's first year as the Head Coach of the Women's Basketball Team. She is eager and excited to work with Coach Risher and continue to carry on the success of the program.
