Build your future - Adding value to people and companies
Through a U.S. Department of Labor Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training (TAACCCT) grant, the Florida TRADE consortium was funded to develop and implement technical training programs and services for displaced and unemployed workers, incumbent workers, students, and returning veterans. Florida TRADE training programs aim to prepare participants for employment in high-wage, high-skill advanced manufacturing occupations.
Skilled employees with advanced technical training are in high demand among many companies, and the Florida TRADE consortium colleges are answering the call. Our programs help prepare targeted populations for high-wage, high-skill employment in Florida’s vibrant advanced manufacturing industry.
Through hands-on, practical training, Florida TRADE students gain the skills needed to move directly into lucrative positions with area companies. Florida TRADE is uniquely positioned to meet the needs of both local employers and displaced workers. By partnering with manufacturing associations, the public workforce system, and area employers, we’re transforming our programs to better align with industry needs.
