The Writing Center can help!

 

Here's how it works: Since timed writing takes awhile (a lot longer than our normal limit of 45 minutes per session), you can make special arrangements to practice by e-mailing us at br-writingcenter@hccfl.edu.  We'll work with you to set up a time for you to come in and write a practice essay.  We'll also arrange a time immediately afterwards for you to go over your essay with a Writing Center staff member.  We'll also make sure we choose a topic that's right for you.

 

Please Note: Timed writing can take awhile.  The exact time, date, and/or tutor you want may not be available.  While every effort will be made to provide students with a quiet, private environment, students should be aware that the Writing Center can get busy sometimes and a completely quiet space might not always be available.
