Continuing Education Units
Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will be given for Continuing Education courses that are designated by a "+" sign in this publication. The CEU is a national standard measuring the amount of time spent in a classroom in which 10 classroom hours equal 1 CEU. For example, a 20-hour course equals 2.0 CEUs.
Drop/Add/Refund Policies
Students who wish to drop/add Continuing Education courses must complete a Student Drop/Add Adjustment form and submit it to a campus AR&R office for processing. Students who have insufficient funds to cover payment by check will be dropped from the class.
A Drop/Add Adjustment form must be submitted prior to the second class session for a full refund. A Drop/Add Adjustment form must be submitted prior to the first class meeting for one-day seminars for a full refund. Refunds are automatic for classes cancelled by HCC.
NOTE: Registering for Continuing Education courses does not constitute regular college admission. To enroll in regular credit courses, contact an HCC Admissions Office for more information. There is no phone registration for non-credit courses.
