Junior Achievement Students at Alexander Elementary School are challenged to think about and learn how they, their families, their communities, and market forces do and will impact their lives. E.N.V.O.Y. Recycling Program - An initial survey performed by a capstone class found that students were concerned about the environment and interested in recycling. Our SIFE team decided that there was a need for a campus-wide, comprehensive recycling program. Joined by the Dale Mabry Campus Beautification Committee, Students for the Environment and Phi Theta Kappa, our SIFE team presented the College’s administration with a proposal. This proposal was accepted and steps are in process that incorporate reducing the waste on campus, reusing some of the materials, providing recycling stations, and developing a marketing plan.
Hawk Success Skills DVD - Students will interview more than 30 local business professionals on a variety of topics ranging from auto repair to living wills.  These interviews will be compiled into a comprehensive DVD that will be distributed to HCC departments, local agencies, and all free income tax preparation sites.
