PRE-TAX BENEFIT PLANS

Flexible Benefits is a program designed to give participating employees benefit savings as well as offer them medical reimbursement and dependent care spending accounts. These benefit savings may result in greater take home pay for employees. Custom Benefit Services is the administrator of the plan.

PREMIUM CONVERSTION PLAN
Premium conversion plans are possible because of Internal Revenue Code Section 125. The United Stated Congress created Code Section 125 as part of the Revenue Act of 1978 to make benefits more affordable for employees. When employees pay qualified insurance premiums with pre-tax dollars, they lower their taxable income and pay less in taxes. Pre tax dollars are dollars that are subtracted from the gross earnings before taxes are deducted.

DEPENDENT CARE REIMBURSEMENT PLAN
When employees elect to participate in a dependent care reimbursement plan, they elect to have specified pre-tax dollars deducted from their paycheck each pay period. These dollars are then placed in a reimbursement account with Custom Benefit Services. After employees incur a qualified* expense and submit a receipt to Custom Benefit Services, they are reimbursed from this account.

MEDICAL REIMBURSEMENT PLAN
When employees elect to participate in a medical reimbursement plan, they elect to have specified pre-tax dollars deducted from their paycheck each pay period. These dollars are then placed in a reimbursement account with Custom Benefit Services. After employees incur a qualified* expense and submit a receipt to Custom Benefit Services, they are reimbursed from this account. This benefit now includes over-the-counter drug reimbursement and direct deposit of your reimbursement check.
