From the AS/AAS Program

• Students have been increasingly involved in community-based learning projects. These have included participation at the Tampa-Hillsborough Storytelling Festival and the Early Childhood Developmental Screening Program. 

 From the Child Development Centers

• Hillsborough Community College’s Ybor Child Development Center is in the process of enrolling three- and four-year-old (VPK) children. Please call Doris Evans at (813) 259-6400 for further information.

•  Hillsborough Community College’s  Dale Mabry Child Development Center is in the process of enrolling three- and four-year-old (VPK) children. Please call the center’s coordinator, Terri Fernandez, at (813) 356-1603 for space availability.                                                        

• Community volunteer, Jennifer Frances (and Bess the Book Bus) were photographed at the Ybor Child Development Center for Family Circle magazine.  Two children from Ms. Denise and Ms. Cheryl’s VPK class (Marwa B. and Jaila R.) are in the photograph with Jenn.
