Thank you for your interest in the Hillsborough Community College Opticianry Program.
To better serve our students we have developed this Online New Opticianry Student Orientation. To be prepared to begin our unique program you will be required to complete all areas of this Orientation. The information here is presented in various formats:

Please be sure to read and watch all presented information and follow all instructions carefully as it is the Student’s responsibility to be informed and prepared prior to the start of classes for any given semester.
STEP ONE and STEP TWO are to be completed in full before beginning the Opticianry Online Orientation. STEP ONE and STEP TWO give you the documents and resources to successfully complete the Online Orientation and to ensure you have the proper equipment, software and information to complete the requirements of the Online Orientation and the Opticianry Program requirements.
Once you have completed STEP ONE and STEP TWO above, you may begin the HCC Online Opticianry Orientation.
If you have not done so already:
SUBMIT THE STUDENT DATA FORM (from Step One) TO THE OPTICIANRY PROGRAM BEFORE GOING ANY FURTHER.
BEGIN THE ONLINE NEW OPTICIANRY STUDENT ORIENTATION
• The Online Opticianry Orientation contains six (6) Parts presented below.
• The Online New Opticianry Student Orientation requires approximately two (2) hours of your time.
• It is strongly recommended that at this time you obtain a binder to store the documents, forms and notes related to this Online Orientation for future reference.
All interested prospective students must complete the Online OPT Orientation Checklist and submit the Online OPT Orientation Completion Form to the Opticianry Program Manager before they will be eligible to begin the HCC Opticianry Program.
