As a Student of the HCC Opticianry Program you must be informed about current developments and future plans as they pertain to your courses, the program and your status as a student. We have gone to great lengths to provide information about your courses and the program in many ways.

Students may receive information through their courses (email, bulletins, and announcements) however; all Students are required to access the HCC Opticianry Program Website periodically throughout every semester to obtain pertinent information regarding the Opticianry Program and its courses.

It is recommended that Students access the Opticianry Website at least:

  • Every-other day in the week prior to the start of classes (or as needed for questions about registration updates)
  • Frequently during Drop/ Add (first week of the semester) for registration information updates
  • Near Mid-semester for Midterm Exam information
  • Periodically prior to Final Exams for information and updates regarding On-campus Final Exam Sessions
