At this time please refer to our "Frequently Asked Questions" area of the Opticianry Website. This area addresses some of the more common questions about our unique program.

Opticianry Program FAQ's

 

Here is a brief outline of what to expect once you have completed the HCC Opticianry Online Orientation:

1) After you complete the HCC Online Orientation and submit the Orientation Completion Form your account will be activated and you will be contacted about your registration options. Please allow approximately 3 business days for this activation to be completed and for us to contact you.

**DO NOT REGISTER FOR ANY OPTICIANRY COURSES WITHOUT FIRST BEING CONTACTED BY THE OPTICIANRY PROGRAM ABOUT YOUR REGISTRATION OPTIONS

2) After you register and pay for your classes you may order your textbooks.

3) The HCC Opticianry Program starts new classes of students in August, January and May (depending on when you submit the HCC Application for Admission) The August start semester is the only full time semester. January and May start semesters are part-time options only.

 

Now that you have read our information, watched our videos, downloaded and filled-out the forms from the various orientation areas presented herein; submit the Online OPT Orientation Completion Form.

**Fill out, sign, date the Orientation Completion Form and scan/ email the form to:

hccoptadmissions@hccfl.edu (title the email: OPT Orientation Completion Form)
