| Choose a Career in Radiography |
|
The Radiography Program educates the student in the application of x-ray energy used to assist in the diagnosis or treatment of a patient's condition. A radiographer performs various radiographic procedures and techniques that result in images that are interpreted by a licensed physician.
The Radiography Program is dedicated to preparing the student, through academic and clinical studies, for a challenging and rewarding career as a radiographer. This 22 month continuous program includes practical experience in Hillsborough County clinical education settings for students to develop competence in radiographic procedures.
The graduate of the Radiography Program is eligible to take the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist's (ARRT) examination and will also be eligible for a State of Florida General Radiographer license.
