ENGLISH CREEK CENTER
The English Creek Center is owned and operated by the Institute of Florida Studies at Hillsborough Community
College and is available for professional conferences, corporate retreats, training sessions, weddings, and other functions and events. This Center is located just east of Brandon, Florida and is part of the 400 acre HCC Environmental Studies Center at English Creek. The indoor and outdoor meeting spaces provide a convenient, beautiful and secluded space for your event planning needs. Catering services are available for luncheons.
MEETING FACILITIES
The English Creek Center has air conditioned meeting rooms which may be rented for
retreats, conferences, receptions, weddings, and social events. The Lecture Hall (980
sq. ft.) can comfortably accommodate up to 70 people. State of the art educational/
presentation tools, such as VCR/monitor, overhead projectors, marker boards, and a laptop projector are available for use in this facility. The West Classroom (625 sq. ft.) can accommodate up to 40 people and can be used for small meetings, discussion groups, etc. The East Classroom (650 sq. ft.) can accommodate up to 50 people and can be used for meetings, discussion groups, receptions, laboratory exercises and a number of other uses. In addition to these indoor meeting rooms, the grounds offer almost unlimited meeting space.
CATERING
Luncheon catering can be provided through a number of local restaurants and caterers.
