Want to be a part of Florida's most important industry? Interested in serving the community by protecting the health of the public and the future of water in Florida? It is projected that almost half of the current water/wastewater operators will retire in the next 5 to 7 years, and qualified operators are in short supply. This is your chance to start a new career!
The Institute offers non-credit courses for both Water and Wastewater Operators "C" License. These courses are approved by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, and take about 15 weeks to complete. The courses prepare you for employment in the water/wastewater field, and prepare you take the "C" License exam.
