Want to be a part of Florida's most important industry? Interested in serving the community by protecting the health of the public and the future of water in Florida?  It is projected that almost half of the current water/wastewater operators will retire in the next 5 to 7 years, and qualified operators are in short supply!

The Wastewater "C" License Certification program offered by our Institute will prepare you for the Level C certification exam.  The course will also prepare students for employment as water treatment plant operators or provide supplemental training for persons previously or currently employed in this occupation.  The program involves lectures, wastewater treatment plant visits and some lab work.

The certification course will be offered at the HCC Plant City Campus. The classes will be offered on Mondays (6-9 PM), Wednesdays (6-9 PM) and Saturdays (8 AM - 1 PM).  The Spring 2010 course begins on February 1, 2010 and will run until May 15, 2010.  The course fee is $435.  The course number is EVS 8004, the Section Number is 00998.
