Study abroad in London, England in Summer 2014! Here is a great opportunity to experience one of the world's greatest cosmopolitan, cultural and financial capitals! Apply Now!
As part of MAN 2604 Intercultural Relations to Business, students will travel to England to gain a deeper knowledge about British culture and local business mechanisms and practices. This study abroad program will be a life-changing experience and expose students to a whole new and diverse culture through pre-trip seminars, visits to cultural sites, tours of local and international businesses, lectures at Greenwich Community College, and a post-trip wrap-up.
After returning, students will have a strong understanding of the English culture and business model. A broader knowledge of international business and culture allows students to differentiate themselves from other job applicants and makes them significantly more marketable and attractive to potential employers.
Academic features of the trip include:
- A tour of the Precision Ceramics facility in Birmingham, including a luncheon with company executives
- A visit to Greenwich Community College, where students will experience a British classroom setting and have the opportunity to interact with students and faculty and learn about business mechanisms and practices in the U.K.
- A tour of historical sites, including the Tower of London and Hampton Court Palace.
