Program Overview
Are you interested in studying Spanish language and culture? The College Consortium for International Studies (CCIS) “Seville Summer” Program, sponsored by Broward College and St. Bonaventure University, allows you to immerse yourself in the Spanish language, culture and society of Spain.
Located in Seville, this program draws upon the resources of both the University of Seville and the International College of Seville (ICS). Both border a beautiful park near the center of the city, with easy access to the many cultural and historical attractions of Seville.
Students participating will be living with Spanish families during their stay in Seville.
Academic features of the trip include:
- Spanish language (beginning through advanced level)
- Culture and Society of Spain (taught in Spanish and English)
Students will earn 6 credits total.
Also available is the study of Arabic language and culture.

Dates: May 24 - June 29, 2013
Cost: $3,900*
Upon acceptance into the program, students are required to pay a $300 commitment fee, which is included in the total program cost.
Eligibility Requirements: A 2.5 cumulative GPA is required in addition to transcripts and two letters of recommendation. The program is open to students from 2 and 4-year colleges and universities throughout the U.S. and Canada.

*The program fee includes instructional and program coordination fees in Seville, field trips, pre-paid health plan, and room and board in Seville (with a Spanish host family), cell phone, tutorial services, Wi-Fi access at ICS and more. All fees, costs and dates are subject to change.
The fee does not include airfare, personal expenses and books.
