Mission

To transform Hillsborough Community College into a participating sustainable member of society. Through a partnership among students, faculty, staff, administrators, and community members, we seek to establish and nurture an institutional culture of sustainability and promote excellence and leadership in education, innovation, and stewardship to achieve economic, social, and environmental sustainability that will ensure the health and well-being of present and future generations of people, both locally and globally.

Climate Action Plan

The Climate Action Plan (CAP) outlines HCC's approach to achieve college-wide climate neutrality by 2050. This plan establishes aggressive yet achievable greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction targets and goals, and recommends strategies to reduce college-wide GHG emissions in the areas of transportation, energy, and solid waste.
