HCC Launches A unique Course!

Introduction to Sustainable Food Systems by Ryan Iacovacci

In partnership with local food systems expert Ryan Iacovacci, HCC Sustainability will launch a first of its kind Introduction to Sustainable Food Systems.

This 12 hour non-credit course will be taught by Ryan and other local experts to introduce participants to the current system’s challenges, seed selection, soil biology, start-ups, marketing, emerging distribution systems, legalities and policy, greenwashing, and more! It will also include unique field trips to such places as Morningstar Fishermen Aquaponics in Dade City and Sweetwater Organic Farm in Tampa.

Classes will be held on the Ybor City campus (YSSB 307/308) begins June 17th.

Cost for this course is $150.
