"Education Is The Key To Success!"
What Is Educational Talent Search?

Educational Talent Search (ETS) is a TRIO program funded by the U.S. Department of Education.  TRIO programs assists individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds who have the potential to succeed in higher education. The Hillsborough Community College Educational Talent Search Program was established in 2002.

ETS is an early intervention program that works with first generation, low income, college bound students in grades 6 through 12 at target schools in Hillsborough County.

The program provides academic, career and financial counseling to its participants and encourages them to graduate from high school and continue on to the post-secondary institution of their choice.

Student meetings are held at the target schools during the school day.  In addition to the meetings, students have opportunities to participate in educational and cultural trips.

Educational Talent Search also serves high school stop-outs by encouraging them to re-enter the educational system and complete their education.

All service provided by ETS are FREE.
