MISSION STATEMENT:

The Hillsborough Community College Radiography Program is designed to develop competent, professional entry level radiographers.
The Program provides educational and practical experiences for the student to be effective in both the clinical and the didactic portions of the curriculum. These experiences are available to individuals regardless of sex, race, creed, socioeconomic status, handicap (with reasonable accommodation), marital status, or educational background.
The Program provides opportunities for the student to build a strong professional foundation which (s)he will be able to utilize in order to advance within the profession.

GOALS:

1. The Program will prepare students to demonstrate competency and skills of an entry level Radiographer.
2. The Program will graduate students who are employable and meet the needs of the health care community.
3. The student will demonstrate appropriate communication and critical thinking skills.
4. Promote professional growth, lifelong learning, and the values and ethics of a Radiographer.
