Drafting Certificate Program - CCC.ADCT.DRAFT
The DRAFT Certificate program is a continuation and expansion on the technical course content presented in the CAD Certificate program. Students earn this second certificate by completing the courses within the CCC.ADCT.CAD certificate and 3 additional technical classes that are required within the CCC.ADCT.DRAFT program. The expanded scope of this program includes a more detailed review of building materials and the advanced use of AutoCad software. Students are also introduced into the process and procedures involving Architectural Design.
CCC.ADCT.DRAFT Technical Course Content and Sequence
The recommended sequence of courses is listed below. The scheduling of classes allows a new student to enroll in either the Fall or Spring term and to complete their certificate in the subsequent Spring or Summer Term.

Time Factors
· Certificates require one year of study or less.
· AS degrees require two years of study.
· AA degrees required two years or more of study and two to three years at an upper division College or University.
