Request that your High School transcript or GED scores be sent directly to the HCC campus you want to attend. (Dale Mabry campus applicants must mail high school or GED transcript to the address given above.)
Request that official transcripts from all colleges or universities previously attended be sent directly to: HCC Transcript Office, P.O. Box 31127, Tampa, FL, 33631-3127. You must bring unofficial copies of your college transcripts with you for advising purposes.
Complete HCC Placement Test. The Test Center is located in Room 203 of the Student Services Building. OR
Take ACT or SAT test scores (if less than 2 years old) to the Test Center and ask that they be converted. Show your scores to an academic advisor to determine if your scores meet the college level requirements. If they are not at the appropriate level, you must take the placement test for that area. OR
Show an academic advisor a copy of your transcript that indicates the appropriate coursework successfully completed at a regionally accredited college or university.
Attend a New Student Orientation, date and time of which will be provided by the Test Center. If you are transferring from a regionally accredited college or university and you have proof of successfully completing Freshman English and a college level math course, you will be eligible for cyber-orientation. An advisor will provide you with the appropriate cyber-orientation form.
Register for classes. Registration dates will be provided during the Orientation session.
