Dual Enrollment Program

High School Students seeking entrance into the Dual Enrollment Program, must be referred by their High School counselors and directed to the Hillsborough Community College counselor's offices, located in the Student Services Building Room 204. Prospective students will be directed to the Testing Center, Room 203 for testing. Each will be given a three part assessment which includes reading, sentence skills, algebra, and will take approximately an hour and a half. A photo ID and Social Security number is required to test.

Scores necessary to participate in the Dual Enrollment Program are as follows:

Reading: 83 Sentence Skills: 83 Algebra: 72

All requests for a one-time retest must be approved by Hillsborough Community College Counselors and a fee of $10.00 per sections is required. After a one-time approval, NO additional testing will be allowed or admission into the Dual Enrollment Program. Test results are valid for 2 years from the date of the test.

Please note that there is a $15.00 proctoring fee. Payment must be completed at the Bursar/Cashier's Office. Payment may be made by Check to HCC, Cash, Money Order or Credit Card (MasterCard or Visa).
