Courses in English for Academic Purposes(EAP) are offered at the Ybor and Dale Mabry Campuses only. Before taking the EAP test, you will need to apply to Hillsborough Community College by filling out an on-line application and paying a $20.00 application fee. After receiving your acceptance letter with your student number, you must meet with an Academic Advisor, to determine your testing needs.

All tests are given in the Testing Center, DSTU 203, Monday-Thursday, from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm, on a walk-in basis. No appointment needed: however, a photo ID is required, such as a Driver's license, Military ID or passport. The test measures Reading Comprehension, Language Usage, and Written Expression. The test has no time limit. On completion of testing, you will be required to schedule an orientation.
