The following courses are available through the HCC Institute for Corporate and Continuing Education

  • Basic Driver Improvement - Basic Driver Improvement, or Florida traffic school, is a 4-hour defensive driving course that a driver can elect (volunteer) to attend after receiving a Florida traffic ticket (moving violation).
  • Florida's Drivers Education for Teens: DHSMV Required Drug and Alcohol Course - Are you at least 15 years old and ready to get your first Florida driver license? If you are, you can take your Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles-required drug and alcohol course online!
  • Florida Intermediate Driver Improvement (IDI) - This course is an extended version of the standard 4-hour Basic Driver Improvement course that is taken by drivers for a traffic citation. IDI can be taken by any driver who has been ordered to attend an 8-hour course by a Florida court or judge, or who has elected to attend such a course.
  • Florida Advanced Driver Improvement (ADI) - This 12-hour class is approved by the State of Florida for drivers with a suspended or revoked license, HTO's, and drivers who have been court ordered to attend a 12-hour class.
