Hillsborough Community College - Ybor City Campus
HCC's urban campus. Present location opened in 1973 and currently occupies 42 acres in the heart of historic Ybor City. While providing a full range of college preparatory and college parallel programs, Ybor City Campus distinguishes itself as a center for theatre, music, dance, and the visual and plastic arts. It is also the college’s headquarters for training in law enforcement, corrections, juvenile justice, and fire science.

Ybor City State Museum
Part of the State of Florida Parks system. The museum is housed in the Ferlita Bakery building, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The museum complex includes three restored cigar workers' houses. Authentic cigar-rolling demonstrations are scheduled, as are guided walks through historic Ybor City.
