The objective of this course is to provide the students with a working knowledge of the science of human reproduction and concepts of inheritance. It encompasses subjects such as the process of cell division, DNA, RNA structure, genes and genetic inheritance, reproductive system and related hormones, fertilization leading to birth as well as birth control and sexually transmitted diseases.
