Situation
In 1916-17 Susan Glaspell wrote Trifles, a play, and "A Jury of her Peers," a short story, about a woman who may have killed her husband after years of mental, verbal, and possible physical abuse. With very little evidence, two of our fall 2008, 1102 classes have tried the woman.
