Helpful Information for IDS 2110 - Intro to Internet Research
I hope that you will find the class interesting and useful. There are no required textbooks to purchase. All of the course content is online. There is no physical meeting place for this course. Everything will be done online.

When you log in and get acquainted with the online course, please submit the Pretest. This will not be graded but is required. You will receive participation points. Don't worry if you don't score well on it. It is a pre-test! You aren't expected to know the material.

The assessments are due on or before the dates that are noted. I strongly recommend that you SAVE and/or PRINT each one BEFORE you submit it. That way if there is a technical problem you will have proof that you have completed the assignment. In addition, all assessments are due IN ORDER. (#1 before #2, etc.) Each lesson builds on the previous lesson. I encourage you to submit the assessment as soon as you have completed it.
If you would like to complete the course earlier than the end of the semester, you are most welcome to do so. Remember to check your e-mail messages frequently. I will use the course e-mail within MyHCC.
