WEEK ONE ASSIGNMENTS

Register for My Math Lab
|
|
My Math Lab is where you will watch lecture videos, complete practice problems, take quizzes, and view your grades in the course. To register yourself for My Math Lab, please follow these directions.
Here is a video that will show you how to register for My Math Lab and then take you through an orientation of the system.
(You may need to click the refresh button if the video freezes up).
I highly recommend using Mozilla Firefox to access My Math Lab; Internet Explorer can have trouble loading the content at times.
You must register for MML before you will be able to being your assignments for sections 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3.

Section Learning Objectives
Learn the definition of statistics.
Learn how to distinguish between a population and a sample and between a parameter and a statistic.
Learn how to distinguish between a Categorical and Quantitative Variable.

3. Click on the homework tab
4. Click on homework section 1.1 and 1.2 (Welcome to Statistics)
5. Click on problem number 1 to begin practicing.
*Begin this assignment before attending class. Make at least one attempt on all problems.
Write down what you need clarificatin on or assistance with in class.
The assignment should be completed by the due date listed in My Math Lab.
