Course Description and Objectives: (adopted from HCC catalog): 3 Credits. Intended for biology and allied health majors.  Focuses on disease states, bacteria, viruses, fungi, rickettsiae and other pathogenic organisms. Topics will include problems of sterilization, infections, resistance, diagnostic testing and immunization.
