Research: My field of research was experimental neuroanatomy. I was interested in the functional anatomy of the human brain, specifically the connections between cortex and hippocampus, an area essential for the storage of long-term-memories. For a publication list and some pdf-files of publications, please link to the respective page on the navigation bar. In science, I am also interested in neuropsychology, the evolution of life, and animal and human behavior.
Honors: I was the recipient of the 2011 NISOD award for teaching and leadership excellence at Hillsborough Community College. Also, I have been in Who's Who in America and Who's Who in the World for more than ten consecutive years now. My biography was included again in the 2011/2012 editions. My biographical information was also included in the 2005 edition of Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare.
