What is this course about?
This course provides an introduction to environmental science and features some special topics. These areas of focus are: population explosion, energy issues, climate change and local, national and global management of life-essentials (water, air, and food). The course material and reading relies heavily on internet and media resources.
Where is the syllabus?
A syllabus will be sent to you via Hawkmail about one week before the beginning of the term. After that it will be available for download here and on our course space in Blackboard.
The "laboratory" part of this combined-course is mainly covered by your participation in two field trips. These field trips will happen on two Fridays.
