More than 400 students reside at Hawks Landing, the HCC student housing complex located across from HCC’s Dale Mabry
Campus in Tampa. The Hawks Landing apartment community offers students a great value, convenient location, and a fun
living and learning environment.
HCC Employees
Keeping Student Dreams Alive
The DreamKeepers Endowment grew to nearly $200,000, earning interest that
enabled thirty-four (34) HCC students to receive small assistance packages.
This emergency relief had a large impact on permitting students to remain
in school. Over 75% of the students who received DreamKeepers awards
completed their classes, and returned for the following semester.
This year the Foundation responded to a challenge to raise $20,000 for the
DreamKeepers Endowment by Scholarship America. This opportunity provided
a $10,0000 match to build the fund to help many more HCC students. HCC
employees and community friends supported the DreamKeepers Endowed
Scholarship Fund with great generosity. The HCC Foundation is grateful for
every employee gift during the Internal Campaign and appreciates all gifts to
an established endowed scholarship such as DreamKeepers. Together we help
students achieve their dreams and academic goals.
The strain of worrying about
the additional expenses while
attending school is reduced.
With this, I will be able to
focus more on my studies ...”
