 | Tuition Reimbursement All non-faculty personnel at the College may be eligible for tuition reimbursement. For information and/or to submit a request for reimbursement, please see the latest procedure and form (link needs updating).
Q: How much will I be reimbursed? A: Reimbursement is at the rate of $150.00 per credit hour for undergraduate classes, up to six credit hours per semester, a total of $750.00. For graduate classes, the reimbursement rate is $175.00 per credit hour, up to six credit hours per semester, a total of $900.00. There is a set amount of money established each fiscal year for tuition reimbursement. Currently, that amount is $30,000.00. Once this money is expended, no additional funding will be available for the remainder of the year.
Q: Can I go to any school I want? A: As long as the school is an accredited institution you may attend the school of your choice. However, be advised that many private schools have a much higher tuition rate than the public institutions. You will be responsible for any difference between the tuition reimbursement rate and your actual tuition cost.
Q: Are there any classes that HCC won’t fund? A: The tuition reimbursement policy is based on the pursuit of a degree or certificate program that is work-related. For those individuals pursuing a bachelor’s degree, HCC will not fund classes equivalent to
