In ancient Greek culture, areté is the most valued of human attributes. Although it is often translated as "virtue," it literally means "to shine." Areté is associated with reaching the highest in individual potential, not linked especially with intelligence, but any activity. It means working to the best of one's capability, no matter the context or necessary skills.
Are you Areté?
