Scholarships

Each year the Honors Institute Director is pleased to award scholarships to exceptional students. New students entering the Institute and existing Honors students are eligible for scholarships. All Honors applications are given scholarship consideration on a competitive basis. Students must attend full time in order to receive any of the following scholarships.

Board of Trustees Scholarship: Covers 12 credit hours per term for three consecutive academic years (fall and spring semesters only) up to a maximum of 72 credit hours (minus any college credits earned prior to receiving the scholarship or credits taken other than fall and spring semesters). This scholarship includes $400 for textbooks and supplies from the HCC bookstores.

Honors Institute Foundation Scholarship: Up to $1500, awarded annually.

Presidential Honors Scholarship: Covers 12 credit hours per term for three consecutive academic years (fall and spring semesters only) up to a maximum of 72 credit hours (minus any college credits earned prior to receiving the scholarship or credits taken other than fall and spring semesters).
