Testing

Test Center Information 

The following information/materials are needed on the day of testing:

  • Current photo ID
  • Proof of payment from the Bursar’s office (receipt) when paying fees. If paying online, please email a screenshot of your receipt to your campus testing center. Fees are charged for retakes of PERT and Accuplacer CLM, LOEP. There is also a proctor fee for CLEP, CPE, and Proctored Exams for other institutions.

Placement Testing

Placement testing is offered on a walk-in basis. On the day of testing, please bring your Placement Test Referral, a valid photo ID, and proof of payment (if applicable).

Faculty Make-Up Exams

Students with accommodations or extenuating circumstances are required to make an appointment for make-up exams. Students should schedule 24 hours ahead of time and bring a photo ID on the day of the test.

CLEP

Students must schedule an appointment at least 48 business hours in advance by emailing a test center. We ask that you arrive 15 minutes before your appointment time for check-in purposes. For more information on CLEP, please visit our CLEP FAQ's.

Florida Civic Literacy Exam 

The State of Florida Rule: 6A-10.02413 states that students initially entering a Florida College System institution or state university in 2018-19 and thereafter must demonstrate competency in civic literacy. For more information please see our Civic Literacy webpage

Make an Exam Appointment

TEAS

To schedule a TEAS, students must visit ATItesting.com. Additional questions can be directed to healthsciences@hccfl.edu.

Proctored Exams for Other Institutions

We proctor exams for students of other institutions for a fee. To schedule a proctored exam for another institution, please contact a campus test center. Students will need to bring a valid photo ID and proof of payment on the day of the test.

  • Monday and Tuesday: 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. 
  • Wednesday – Friday: 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
