Password Reset Information and Instructions

Protecting the security of our information technology resources is of paramount importance at Hillsborough Community College. In light of a recent data breach at a sister institution that put at risk the identities of over 200,000 faculty, staff, and students around the state, the Office of Information Technology is enforcing a password change for all users for all systems. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Step 1 - Reset your NetID

On or after Friday, 12/07/2012, you will be required to change your NetID. You will no longer have access to MyHCC, HCC Wireless, and SmarThinking Online until your password is reset. To reset your password, go to: https://netid.hccfl.edu/ and click the blue "Click Here to Register your NetID account" button at the top of the page. Enter your first, last, or logon name to find your account. Choose the "Forgot My Password" button and answer the questions to finish resetting your password.



Step 2 - Reset your WebAdvisor/Campus Cruiser Password

On or after Friday, 12/07/2012, you will be required to change your WebAdvisor/Campus Cruiser password. You will no longer have access to WebAdvisor and Campus Cruiser until your password is reset. To reset your password, go to: https://hccauthportal.hccfl.edu/, enter your username and enter your Student ID as your password. Follow the instructions to reset your password.

 

Step 1 - Reset your NetID

On or after Friday, 12/07/2012, you will be required to change your NetID. Affects access to MyHCC, HCC Wireless, SmarThinking Online, CISCO VPN, Outlook and your computer. When you login to your computer, you will be prompted to reset your password.


Step 2 - Reset your Datatel Colleague

On or after Friday, 12/07/2012, you will be required to change your Datatel Colleague password. When you log in, you will be prompted to reset your password. You will need to enter your old password, and then enter your new password twice.



Step 3 - Reset your WebAdvisor/Campus Cruiser Password

On or after Friday, 12/07/2012, you will be required to change your WebAdvisor/Campus Cruiser password. You will no longer have access to WebAdvisor and Campus Cruiser until your password is reset. To reset your password, go to: https://hccauthportal.hccfl.edu/, enter your username and enter your Employee ID as your password. Follow the instructions to reset your password.

You will not be able to access the system that uses that password for authentication.
