This year there were close to 800 participants in attendance who filled the Plant City campus wearing HCC blue monogramed polo shirts. With over 60 different activities and breakout sessions around topics related to personal enrichment, motivation and learning, the day included breakfast, lunch, and silent auction that raised $2,500 for the Dream Keepers Emergency Scholarship Fund, which makes student retention a reality during emergency situations.
Taking into account this year’s theme, “One Community, One College, One Goal,” the general session during the event engaged a series of presenters to provide HCC employees informative topics and discussion on the various programs and relevant updates on projects in the works that will have college-wide impact such as Campus Works, Datatel and CITT.
Together, the HCC family was hosted by a team of their own—with warm greetings and smiles from the host committee—to a day of learning and sharing ways to be better individuals, professionals, and citizens that give to our students and community through the HCC Foundation and community partners like the United Way. Traditions such as these have great value. HCC is proud of the work of our students, faculty and staff and during days like All College Day, these qualities shine!
