Health science students host 10th Annual Senior Prom for Seniors

The Health Pre-Professionals Service Organization (HPPO), a Brandon Campus student club, held a lovely "Senior Prom" for residents of Consulate Health Care in Brandon on the afternoon of May 11. The Hawaiian luau-themed, annual event featured colorful leis, tropical food and drinks, portraits, raffles, dancing with a live DJ, and a delicious cake. The HCC health sciences students who are part of HPPO brought smiles to the faces of many seniors as they shared stories, refreshments, and laughs.

Professor Beth McCullough serves as HPPO's faculty advisor, and encourages these service-oriented HCC students to continue their efforts that make a positive difference in their community.

“This was our tenth year hosting the prom,” Professor McCullough said. “It’s a super fun event and very special for the senior residents. Our students are doing a great job in their outreach efforts.”
