The Career Resource Center on the Dale Mabry campus is sharing their “cool” ideas and events. On June 5, 2012, members of the Career Resource Center (CRC) took to the halls to serve up free ice cream to students, while promoting the upcoming events of the CRC. Students and staff were able to enjoy the cool refreshment while hearing about the summer’s workshops that are being offered. On Friday, June 15, 2012 the CRC helped students put the “Snap, Crackle, and Pop” into their resumes with a free workshop at 9 a.m. On Wednesday, June 20, students attended the “Don’t Strike Out at your Interview” interview and attire workshop. (All workshops have limited seating availability).
Professors may also take advantage of the Career Center’s resources. Orientation to the Career Resource Center can enlighten entire classes at a time about the tools, techniques, and resources that are available right at the students’ fingertips. Be sure to contact the CRC to schedule your class’ orientation today!
