The A.A. Advising Guides are
meant as a guideline to the most common majors students
pursue when planning to transfer to a university. While HCC
awards one AA degree, through careful coordination with
the transfer institution, some of the prerequisities and/or
requirements of a variety of university majors can be
satisfied within the A.A. degree. While these Guides are
created as a tool, it is the responsibility of the student to
research courses that may apply toward their transfer degree.
The Guides listed here do not reflect ALL possible majors.
Please contact the university directly about any major(s) not
covered by these prepared Advising Guides.
Students
should see an advisor or counselor prior to registration to
determine if preparatory courses are required and to determine
if any program revisions have occurred.
The Advising
Guides do not constitute a contract.
The Guides listed
below apply to students who begin enrollment in the 2005-2006
academic year or former students returning to HCC. Students
who enrolled under a previous catalog and meet the continuous
enrollment criteria should see an Academic Advisor for the
appropriate Advising Guide.
Please see an Academic
Advisor or Counselor for more information.
