Hillsborough Community College accurately represents our practices and policies in recruitment materials and presentations. HCC has three main sources of information concerning policy and procedures, services available, programs offered, and course offerings: the HCC Catalog, the Student Handbook, and the Credit Course Schedules (published each semester). All three of these publications are available on the HCC website. The State of Florida Department of Education generates the copy for these publications based upon the most current information and regulations from the DOE.
The content of all individual brochures, fact sheets, and general recruiting publications (i.e. print and broadcast advertising, recruitment brochures, program brochures) produced by HCC's Department of Marketing and Creative Services are based entirely upon the information contained in the three sources above.
Prior to publication, HCC's Catalog, Student Handbook, and Credit Course Schedule are reviewed numerous times by subject matter experts to ensure that all information contained in these publications accurately reflects policies governing College operation as an accredited community college within the Florida Community College System.
