Narrative/Justification for Judgment of Compliance
 

Each of Hillsborough Community College's academic (e.g. Respiratory Care), academic support (e.g. Student Services), and administrative (e.g. HCC Foundation) units is required to identify expected outcomes and criteria of success for every unit objective; a means of assessing those outcomes; results of the assessments; and documentation of how assessment results have been (or will be) used for unit improvement.  These elements are required components of an online Planning System* employed by HCC as an integral part of the College's Biennial Planning Process (p. 3, paragraph 5).

Management reports within HCC's Planning System isolate these elements, providing a statistical summary of the College’s progress toward achievement of unit objectives (HCC Strategic Plan Overview, p. 2).  Please also refer to Core Requirement 2.5 on Institutional Effectiveness.
