Hillsborough Community College Administrative Rule 6HX-10-3.01, Personnel Actions, establishes institutional policy on all personnel actions, which includes the recruitment and appointment of employees at HCC. Hillsborough Community College employees have access to all administrative rules and the Recruiting and Interviewing Handbook on the HCC intranet system, which is only accessible to staff, which is why the Off-Site Committee was unable to access this information. All HCC administrative rules are now available on the HCC website (HCC Administrative Rules).
Further, the HCC Recruiting and Interviewing Handbook is also on the HCC website under the Human Resources Department, which is available for use by faculty, staff, as well as, the community and potential employees (HCC Recruiting and Interviewing Handbook). The On-Site Committee members can access these documents on HCC’s website.
In addition to web availability, the Human Resources Department disseminates rules/ policies regarding the appointment and employment of faculty and staff during Screening Committee meetings and training sessions. |
