The HCC Southshore Campus Advisory Council offers faculty, staff and student leaders with an opportunity to be active in the interests of this campus and the HCC community. The campus advisories were established by our previous college President, Dr. Stephenson, to encourage active participation and communication in the HCC community. Each month the SouthShore CAC meets to discuss campus news, business, events and issues.
On a monthly basis, each campus CAC meets and then a quorum of members attend the Institutional Advisory Council (IAC) meeting to communicate with Dr. Atwater or one of his representatives.
The SouthShore Campus Advisory Council is comprised of students, staff and faculty. Past campus president, Dr. George Keith, charged the CAC "to grow campus unity as a team, focus on continuous quality improvements, and be engaged and informed as a community." Our current SouthShore Campus President, Dr. Allen Witt continues to lend his support to the CAC and its efforts.
You are welcome to attend our monthly CAC meetings held on the first Friday of each month from 9 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. in Community Room 202, or you may submit your suggestions or concerns to any of the CAC members.
