The Southshore Center Advisory Council is your opportunity to be active in the interests of this campus and the Hillsborough Community College community. The campus advisories were established by our previous campus President, Dr. Stephenson, to encourage active participation and communication in the HCC community. Each month the SouthShore CAC will meet to discuss campus issues.
On a monthly basis, each CAC meets at their own campus and then a quorum of members attend the Institutional Advisory Council meeting to communicate with Dr. Atwater or one of his representatives.
The SouthShore Campus Advisory Council is made up of students, staff, and faculty. Past campus president, Dr. George Keith, charged the CAC 'to grow campus unity as a team, focus on continuous quality improvements, and be engaged and informed as a community'. Our current President, Dr. Allen Witt continues to lend his support to the CAC and its efforts.
You are welcome to attend our monthly CAC meetings held on the first Friday of each month from 9:00am-10:30am in the Community Room 202 or you can submit your suggestions or concerns to any of the CAC members.
