Financial Aid Budgets for Full-Time and Part-Time Students
The Financial Aid Budgets establish the maximum amount of financial aid awards students may receive within an academic year. Components of the Financial Aid Budget are tuition, fees, books, room and board, transportation, and personal expenses.
The amounts for transportation, personal expenses, room and board are determined from a national cost of living average for the state of Florida. The budget components are reviewed for possible updating every 3 to 5 years. Students may contribute to the financial aid budget re-analysis by participating in surveys conducted by the Financial Aid Office.
There are separate Financial Aid Budgets for students who live with their parents from those who reside away from parents. The budgets are then sorted by residency status and credit hours of enrollment. Choose the link that describes your enrollment status (full-time, part-time, etc.) to view the appropriate Financial Aid budget.
